École LémanMaturité
Rue de Fribourg 6, 1800 Vevey Direction : Yacine Guendouzi
The private school dedicated to the Swiss Matura, in Vevey
LémanMaturité is a private upper-secondary school in Vevey, dedicated to a single objective: passing the Swiss Matura.
We have chosen to devote ourselves to this diploma alone. It allows us to concentrate every pedagogical resource on one examination, with an average of 8 students per class and 15 teachers holding a doctorate, master's degree or equivalent qualification in their subject.
Direct access to Swiss universities
The Swiss Matura offers a particular advantage to students planning to study in Switzerland: it grants access to EPFL, ETH Zurich, UNIL and UNIGE with no entrance examination and no cap on available places. It is a direct route, one we know well and prepare our students for specifically.
A deliberately flexible organisation
When a student struggles, we adapt: evening classes, catch-up Saturdays, individual support — well before examinations approach. This responsiveness is our principal strength and would be impossible in a larger structure.
An internationally minded school
We currently welcome 55 students, 28% of whom come from abroad. An integrated boarding facility, in partnership with École Chantemerle, provides their daily supervision and transport.

Dimitri Clerc — from Vevey to NCAA Division I
Dimitri Clerc joined LémanMaturité with two demands: pass his Matura and continue training as a high-level basketball player. The two are rarely compatible within a conventional curriculum.
We built his timetable around his training, without reducing the academic programme. He earned his place, then moved to the United States as a centre in NCAA Division I.
In 2025 he was ranked 17th in the Junior College Basketball Top 100 and selected as an All-Star. In 2026, playing for Switzerland against Serbia, he found himself defending Nikola Jokić.
His path shows what a flexible structure makes possible: a student should not have to choose between an athletic career and a recognised diploma.
