Présentation de la 9e année pour août 2026

From the 2026–2027 academic year, École Lémania will expand its English-language academic provision with the introduction of Grade 9, also referred to as Preparatory Year 1.
This development enables École Lémania to offer academic programmes in English comprising either one or two years of Preparatory study (Grades 9 and 10), followed by the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Grades 11 and 12. Students completing the full four-year programme will be awarded the High School Diploma. Students who complete a minimum of two years at École Lémania will also be eligible for the High School Diploma, subject to the submission of official academic transcripts from previous institutions.
The introduction of Grade 9 provides students with extended time for academic, linguistic, and personal development, thereby strengthening their readiness for the demands of the IB Diploma Programme. This structured four-year pathway ensures a progressive and well-supported transition into the IBDP, allowing students to develop essential competencies at an appropriate pace. Enhanced language proficiency, refined study skills, and solid subject foundations support informed academic decision-making when selecting IB Diploma subjects.
The Grade 9 curriculum is closely aligned with that of Grade 10, ensuring continuity and coherence across the Preparatory Years. Students completing Grade 9 will begin exploring subject options in Grade 10 as part of a structured preparation process for entry into the IB Diploma Programme.
Boarding facilities are available for students seeking a fully immersive academic and cultural experience.
